To become a society
Based first on a novelty
Then on notoriety
And still later
On having been notorious
A lifetime in stasis
Unknown to oneself
Let alone the masses
Subject to the same analysis
The inconspicuous stick out
Like a sore
Every time you take a shit, you’re the most famous person in the room. Depending upon the air you leave behind, you might elevate yourself to Most Famous Person in the House. If you choose instead to fling your poo out the window, your fame-potential rises still; target therewith prominent members of society, it sky-rockets, if only temporarily.
To maintain a high level of prominence you have to embrace your causal nature, unless you are content with being famous amongst yourself.
Now imagine for a moment being famous amongst yourself for having been famous.
A legend in his own mind, he’s been feeling down.
Does this mean that it was also only amongst yourself that you had been famous? Or does it mean that the fact you were famous at all is unknown outside of yourself?
